Amway’s proud history
Amway began in 1959 when two young entrepreneurs in the United States, Richard DeVos and Jay Van Andel started to live their dreams and developed an innovative business plan that offered everyone the opportunity to build their own business and share in the profits of a range of exceptional products. Today the Amway Corporation, based in Ada, Michigan, is privately held by the DeVos and Van Andel families.
Throughout the years the partnership between a solid business plan and high quality products saw the company become a profitable and successful global business.
